PAPT-B01 Air Permeability Tester is used to test the air permeability of polymer materials, films, paper and paperboard, etc. with Bentsen method (Golley or Schober method is optional).


Features


● Three test methods are available: Gurley method, Schober method and Bendtsen method.

● The pressure difference of the instrument is adjustable in the range of 0-3KPa, with an accuracy of 0.01kPa, which fully meets the test pressure difference requirements of the three methods

● The instrument has a large test volume of 1L, which fully meets the volume requirements of the three methods

● The test area of 10.0cm2 and 6.42cm2 can be freely converted by adding a mask

● The instrument comes with a temperature and humidity sensor to monitor the temperature and humidity of the test chamber in real time.

● The instrument has good sealing performance, and the air leakage does not exceed 1.0ml/h

● Dual-mode control of the instrument (computer software is optional)

Testing Principle


Bendtsen method: Under a constant pressure difference of 1.47kPa, record the gas flow through the test surface after clamping for 5 seconds.

Schober method: Under a constant pressure difference of 1.00kPa±0.01 kPa or 2.50±0.01kPa, select an appropriate test duration and measure the gas flow through the sample by the test volume.

Gurley method: Under a constant pressure difference of 1.23kPa, measure the time taken for 100 ml of gas to pass through.
